lockARTS – unlocking arts and minds – is an independent arts in mental health charity. We are based in Suffolk in the UK providing arts courses for people of all ages with mental ill health.
lockARTS was set up in 2015 by Juliet Lockhart in order to develop and grow our two main projects, Art in Mind and the Puppet project. We have a small team of talented, passionate, inspirational trustees and volunteers and we are all excited to see where the next few years will take us.
We want to share our passion for the arts, to share our skills and to share our stories so that together we can build a community with creativity and acceptance at its heart.
